Päikesekiir (Sunbeam) is an Estonian charity, dedicated to helping children with disabilities and their families. Children with special needs in Jõhvi and Northeast Estonia need a warm, comfortable place where they can receive love and care.

Over 100 children in the area around Jõhvi are home-bound, living in poor families, with little hope for improved conditions. These children need to communicate, expand their horizons, connect with each other, make friends and find kindred spirits.

Sunbeam helps fill this need. Additionally, our building hosts a variety of social services.
