26. juunil külastas tugikodu kiriku noortegrupp Teen Mania Ameerikast. Noored veetsid töise päeva Päikesekiire territooriumil korrastustöid tehes. Ühtsuses peitub jõud! Suur hulk vajalikke töid sai tehtud lühikese ajaga. Noored eemaldasid õuealalt üleliigsed põõsad, tasandasid sireliheki, puhastasid suured puud vanadest oksadest, pesid aknad ehitustolmust jms. Oli suur rõõm vaadata, kui sõbralikult ja hoogsalt noored koos töötasid.

Hindame väga nende noorte soovi ja valmisolekut, kaasa aidata tugikodu tegemistele. See oli esimene ühine hoogtööpäev vabatahtlikega Päikesekiires. Loodame, et neid tuleb veel ja veel……….

On June 26 an American Christian youth group from Stoneworks International in partnership with Teen Mania had a work day at Sunbeam. They did landscape work and cleaned up some of the construction mess. The land looks much better now, after they trimmed hedges, removed overgrowth and cut up some fallen trees. They are a great group of young people, and we enjoyed working with them and getting to know them.

This was a milestone for us: the first foreign work team to help at Sunbeam. We hope that many more will follow as we serve children and families in our area. Please contact us if you’d like to bring people to help!
